When I find a book I like, that's a good sign to me that I'll like everything that the author has written in the past, and will write in the future. For me, a great author is one that writes book after book after book of un-put-down-able stories. Now that I've revisited and updated this list, I now have a strong desire to re-read the entire series. #RAYMOND E FEIST BOOKS IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER SERIES#
Feist concluded the adventures of the world Midkemia in the Riftwar Cycle, which contains 31 books and was written over a period of 31 years, on with the publication of the last book, Magician's End. Feist Chronological Reading Order The following list shows the order the books as chronologically as possible, this is not a recomended order in which the books should be read, as to do it properly you need to jump from one book to another. More than 100 entries as I broke out all the books of any series mentioned. Starting with Silverthorn, everything after that is chronological in terms of the timeline of Midkemia (as opposed to actual publication), so it's easy to determine the reading order. I know, from looking at wikipedia, that he has several series inside the Riftwar Universe. The thing is, Ive never read any of his books before, though he has been on my list.
However, an alternate reading order would be both Magician books (which are the beginning of the Riftwar Saga), followed by the Empire Trilogy (Daughter, Servant, Mistress), followed by Legends of the Riftwar (Honoured, Murder, Jimmy), and then you conclude with the rest of the Riftwar Saga (Silverthorn, Sethanon). Feist, Reading order I picked up A Kingdom Besieged, the first book in the Chaoswar Saga, as a Kindle Daily deal a bit ago. The reason for this is that there are books yet to be released is a new series calledLegends of the Riftwar (This was originally going to be titled).
I felt like Magician Apprentice and Magician Master were good book-ends to the other books which all took place within the war (while Apprentice starts the war and Magician ends the war). The Raymond E Feist Reference Pages Reading Order Published Order Although it might be nice to read the books in Chronological order, it is recommended that you read them in Published order. The first eight books in my ordering are really difficult to order seeing as how they all happen during the Tsurani invasion of Midkemia. My recommended reading order of Raymond E.
